Job Objective:
The VP, Information Technology, will lead enterprise-wide IT initiatives and serve as a strategic advisor (Chief of Staff) to the CIO. This position is ideal for a seasoned technology executive who combines deep technical expertise with exceptional organizational leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. As VP of IT, you will be a key contributor in the planning, development, and execution of the company’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations. Additionally, you will act as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the CIO, ensuring alignment across IT functions, driving key initiatives, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities
In partnership with the CIO, successfully develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with business goals. Provide oversight and guidance for IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and service delivery. Assist in the management of IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments. Help build and lead high-performing teams across IT disciplines. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives across the organization. Serve as a strategic thought partner and advisor to the CIO. Coordinate and prioritize cross-functional initiatives and special projects. Facilitate executive-level communications, presentations, and reporting. Monitor progress on strategic initiatives and ensure timely execution. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; MBA and/or other certifications are preferred 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 7+ years in a senior leadership role Proven experience managing enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing, data governance, and emerging technologies Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and drive alignment across functions Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities High emotional intelligence and executive presence Experience with SAP implementations or migrations is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills and experience in organizing and prioritizing project sets based on substance, urgency, and capacity; strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Capable of traveling as required up to 30% Preferred
Experience as a VP of Information Technology Experience presenting to the executive leadership team and/or board of directors Experience with highly acquisitive companies Experience with transformation projects and implementing ERP systems, particularly SAP Experience in a multi-site or global enterprise environment Employment details
