Maintains building environment and grounds by maintaining building, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, providing housekeeping, grounds keeping, and repair services. Work with Operations on set-ups, adjustments of machinery, answering calls to the Production Floor, repairing equipment, and installing electrical, gas, water and air when needed. Include soldering pipe, threading pipe, and bending pipe for electrical installations. Complete PMs, work orders, minor repair on forklifts and pallet jacks, building maintenance repair, and assisting IT when needed. Ensure uninterrupted continuity of facility, manufacturing, and support systems and processes throughout the facility. Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet customers’ needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Support, monitor and expand Preventive/Predictive Maintenance throughout facility systems and machinery Maintain systems for conveying liquids and liquid waste by installing and repairing plumbing Maintain building alarm and fire protection systems in compliance with safety Perform exterior/interior building/facility maintenance repairs Maintain buildings accessibility and appearance (litter removal, ice/snow cleanup, painting, landscaping) Activate lights in production areas and ensure water heaters are on at proper temperatures Ensure compliance with state, local and federal food safety laws including USDA, GMPs, CCP, HACCP, SSOPs and SOPs Assist with ongoing efficiencies of manufacturing and support systems; make recommendations to management and implement improvements Utilize Crescent Foods system including work orders, purchase orders, inventory control, and equipment history Troubleshoot and repair controls systems including network problems with PCs, PLCs, and man-machine interfaces Utilize advanced skills in troubleshooting electrical systems including power distribution, motor controls, variable speed controllers, servo controllers, and robotics Troubleshoot automated packaging machinery operation and various process equipment including pumps, valves, meters, and mixing equipment Troubleshoot facility support systems including steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration; and hydraulic and pneumatic systems Safeguard maintenance operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with planned maintenance of machines Flexibility in work schedule; able to work extended hours and weekends Perform related duties as assigned Qualifications

Knowledge of state, local and federal food safety laws including SQF, USDA, GMPs, CCP, HACCP, SSOPs and SOPs Electrical troubleshooting, installation, and repair (single and three-phase) Knowledge of packaging equipment and pneumatics Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication Fluency in written and verbal English Ability to think independently and manage multiple projects; track record of collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff; independent work initiative and sound judgment Education / Experience

High School Diploma or GED Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred 2+ years of experience in food, beverage, or consumer goods in a manufacturing plant HVAC Certification preferred Physical and Environmental Requirements
