Diagnose and repair malfunctioning Plant Heating & Refrigeration equipment Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on Refrigeration & plant utilities Maintain a clean work area and perform other related duties as assigned Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as indicated by the maintenance supervisor using CMMS software Mpulse Monitor and repair steam boilers, fire systems, wastewater, air compressors, ammonia systems, plant plumbing, electrical and hot water systems Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures to resolve issues with facility equipment, compressors, pumps, evaporators, condensers, fans, etc. Plan necessary repairs by ordering parts or scheduling PM and repairs with outside contractors Perform other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager Job Requirements
Must have own toolbox and tools; 2+ years hands-on experience is a plus Trade school with HVAC-R / Wastewater / steam boilers / compressed air / Electrical or Fire system is accepted Ammonia operator 1 & 2 certification (or ability to obtain certification) Experience in repairing refrigeration systems; welding; ability to read diagrams, PLC, mechanical inspection & 3-phase electrical is a plus Indoor & outdoor work; walking, climbing, lifting for a minimum of 8 hours per day Seniority level
