Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced personal injury attorney to join our firm. In this role you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through settlement negotiation. You will diligently represent our clients' interests and ensure they receive fair compensation for their injuries.

Responsibilities :

Strategically litigate personal injury cases by working up case files

Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, oppositions, and other legal documents to advance case progression

Manage cases through the pre-litigation process from intake through demand, negotiation, and settlement

Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions

Prepare, conduct, and defend percipient and expert depositions

Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in court

Review work product, including demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure accuracy and compliance

Draft mediation briefs, attend mediation, and actively participate in negotiating settlements

Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess case values

Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and discuss case developments

Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials in case the case goes to trial

Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court hearings

Manage and provide guidance to litigation assistants, case managers, and paralegals

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing

2+ years of Personal Injury Attorney experience required

Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate commitment to client advocacy, integrity, and professionalism

Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills

Compensation :

Salary Range :

$100k – $215,000+ (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
