Physician - Pediatric Cardiology (ACHD) - Full Time - SLUCare Physician Group Responsibilities

Join a well-established group of academic pediatric and adult cardiologists Primary clinical responsibilities will be in Adult Congenital Heart Disease with additional participation in inpatient services and non-invasive imaging Grow multidisciplinary clinical programs, engage in research and seek programmatic funding Faculty appointment with the Saint Louis University School of Medicine; clinical rank commensurate with experience Provide outpatient and inpatient consultative care; perform or select diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures including echocardiography and advanced imaging (MRI, CT), congenital cardiac catheterization and intervention, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery Teach medical students, residents, and cardiovascular fellows Contribute to research initiatives Participate in statewide and nationwide ACHD advocacy efforts Qualifications

MD or equivalent degree Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology or Adult Cardiology by respective boards Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Missouri Completed an ACGME-accredited 3-year fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology or Adult Cardiology Advanced training or significant experience in ACHD required Visa candidates are welcome to apply About the Program and Facility

The SLU/SSM ACHD Program is the only accredited center in the region and is recognized by the Adult Congenital Heart Association. The division at SSM Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital includes a heart center with a congenital heart surgery program, NICU, PICU, hybrid cath lab/OR, and dedicated electrophysiology laboratory. The hospital is affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine. The adjacent adult hospital offers a broad cardiac service line. Benefits and Environment
