Program Quality Lead
(PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) will support Patriot Product Line (PPL) Quality team on the Patriot Ground Team at our
Andover, MA
location. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interfacing with the Factory to guide Production issue resolution, continuous improvement, and cost savings initiatives. This role requires a quality mindset, proficient communication skills, and the ability to lead teams and collaborate across multiple functions to aid the Patriot Ground Team. The successful candidate will proactively engage with the product line and work in partnership with Product Leadership, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Execution, Operations, Deployed Teams and the Quality team. This role will work to ensure the effective implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance requirements of the programs, and occasionally interface with U.S. Government Customers, Foreign Customers, and Suppliers. The role supports proactive and reactive engagements across factories and suppliers that support the Global Patriot portfolio, and aims to implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk. This is an on-site position in Andover, Massachusetts What You Will Do
Interface with the program quality teams, programs, customers, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), overseeing technical, quality and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements. Closely interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships. Manage and influence across multiple levels of stakeholders to support success of the role. Ensure quality of delivered products and services to customers, communicate quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, and work with key team members on resolving customer expectations related to Quality and Mission Assurance. Partner with IPT Leads on Product Issue Investigation and Resolution Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for product issues Improve processes or systems using Quality science tools; work across functions to address multiple, undefined problems and gather necessary information. Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (5) years of relevant experience. Working experience with Cost of Rework and Scrap (CORS) and/or Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Experience providing technical support for manufacturing and/or design processes. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with APQP Six Sigma, Lean, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification Active U.S. security clearance Experience in other functional areas such as engineering, supply chain, or operations Experience communicating with upper management and customers Hands-on experience in solving both business and technical problems Team-oriented with a drive for continuous improvement Leadership experience What We Offer
