The Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea Resort in Maui is looking for a
Senior Staff Accountant
to join the Finance team. The property features 40 acres of tropical gardens, is Forbes Recommended, and includes 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 12 food and beverage outlets (6 restaurants, 2 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining). Location:

Assist in supervising accounting staff with a focus on computerized accounting systems, month-end close, and general ledger reconciliation. Train, supervise, schedule, and assist in evaluating staff as needed. Oversee income audit function to ensure daily revenue, adjustments, and allowances are accurately recorded. Participate in period-end processes including preparation of journals, validation of balance sheet accounts, and production of monthly financial statements. Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including assets and liabilities. Collaborate with other department managers to establish goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish department financial objectives. Coordinate internal and external audit requests for supporting documents and related materials. Assist with other general accounting duties as needed. What we are looking for
