Job Summary

A successful candidate for this position will focus on the design and development of impactful dashboards and reports that enable a more data-driven organization across The Forge Companies’ business entities. Essential Functions

The Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst will interact closely with key stakeholders to define and solve business challenges through insightful data visualization. This individual will have a strong background with Power BI, is highly detail-oriented, and has an analytical & strategic mind. They will proactively run data quality checks to ensure the validity and integrity of the data being delivered. Reporting Development

Partner with teams across the organization to understand business requirements, define Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and support strategic initiatives with data. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key business metrics. Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations for cross-functional stakeholders. Build models to project business outcomes, evaluate scenarios, and support strategic planning. Enhance and update existing reports as needed. Analysis

Conduct deep dives into business performance to uncover insights and recommend actions. Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility for analysis Identify trends and highlight opportunities for improvement. Documentation

Document report development processes for business contingency purposes. Maintain semantic model documentation, including data sources and table relationships. Maintain an index of all active reports, including data lineage, purpose, and audience. Maintain reporting changelog. Bachelor’s degree in related field. 4+ years of direct experience creating BI dashboards and reports with a focus on data visualization with high proficiency using Power BI. 4+ years of direct experience across a broad spectrum of data analytics, database, and ETL tools. 4+ years of direct experience writing advanced SQL queries for data mining. Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Power Pivot, Power Query, etc., and others, PostgreSQL, Python, AWS Redshift, etc. experience strongly preferred. Able to independently understand data through business context, exploration, and logical connections. Comfortable with advanced Excel functions, allowing analysis of information from multiple data sources. Strong data management skills and an understanding of database table structures are critical. Able to review a process, understand the inputs and outputs from that process, and use that data to build tools that enable managers to better understand and run their business. Gains understanding of a problem, research and analyze data to formulate answers, and communicate results efficiently to peers and business leaders. High level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to reconcile and relate datasets to one another are critically important. Proven ability to multitask and thrive in an environment of sometimes shifting and/or competing priorities. Effectively communicates and meets tight deadlines with limited guidance/supervision. Able to work well with peers and cross-functional partners to analyze problems and implement solutions. Understanding of basic accounting principles is a major plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and collaboration skills. Strong research, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to self-identify opportunities for improvement. Positive attitude and adapts easily to a constant changing environment. Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Travel Requirements

Less than 5% of the time, but occasional travel is necessary.
