Responsibilities

Business Plans & Infrastructure: Develop and support annual marketing and business development plans, including thought leadership platforms, communications, and client outreach. Collaborate with department leadership to develop budgets and objectives; manage day-to-day responsibilities to align with the firm’s strategic efforts and provide exceptional client service; support onboarding and integration of lateral lawyers. Business Development & Profile Raising Initiatives: Implement key BD initiatives, client targeting, campaigns, client seminars, roadshows, and networking events; conduct research and competitive intelligence; maintain CRM data and matter experience; facilitate directory submissions and profile-raising initiatives; coordinate BD training for lawyers. Pitches, Proposals & Marketing Materials: Manage responses to RFPs and opportunities with written proposals and presentations; develop new marketing materials and maintain practice descriptions; ensure bios and descriptions are current. Local Office Support: Provide support for seminars, sponsorships, events, and lateral onboarding when relevant. Other: Supervise and train junior team members; perform other duties as assigned to meet firm goals and objectives. Qualifications

Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field; six or more years of demonstrated success in marketing, research, management, or communications within professional services or equivalent sectors. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Performance Traits: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work in a diverse team; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; self-starter with initiative; strong customer service, attention to detail, confidentiality, strategic thinking, and problem-solving; familiarity with competitive intelligence research methods. Management Accountabilities: Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience; budget analysis and staffing analysis; ability to drive process improvements and delegate effectively. Physical Requirements

May require occasional lifting up to 20 lbs and travel to other offices as needed. The typical pay scale is between $155,000 and $185,000, with actual compensation subject to education, experience, skills, and internal pay alignment.
