Job Summary and Responsibilities: Performs a wide range of preventive/repair/facilities maintenance tasks on the building, equipment and grounds to retain assigned facility in an acceptable state. Skilled trade work includes carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and heating and air conditioning, as well as locksmith duties. Additional duties include maintaining/repairing kitchen equipment, assembling items such as furniture, assisting with quarterly technical testing of equipment and inspection of facilities, identifying the need for submission of work order requests, following up on completion of work beyond individual capacity, and ensuring grounds and outside areas surrounding the buildings are maintained in excellent condition. Responsibilities
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical/electrical equipment to include but not limited to boilers, emergency generators, HVAC and related equipment in a quality and timely manner. Performs a variety of building maintenance tasks including the skilled trades as required (e.g., carpentry, painting, plumbing). Completes and maintains accurate records and logs. Tests and evaluates equipment prior to putting into service. Orders and receives parts and materials to make necessary repairs on related equipment. Qualifications
Education/Work Experience: Requires three years of recent, progressively responsible maintenance-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge, skills and abilities. Licensure/Certification: Current electrical, plumbing, or boiler licensure is preferred. Pay
Pay Range: $42.16 - $42.91 /hour
