What you’ll do
Run the month-end close: JEs, accruals, prepaids, deferrals; bank/credit-card and balance-sheet reconciliations. Maintain the GL and support US GAAP financials; partner with FP&A on variance analysis (budget/forecast vs. actuals). Own AP/AR: 3-way match, invoice coding, payment runs, vendor onboarding (W-9), collections, cash application. Support revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), fixed assets, and expense management (e.g., Concur/Expensify). Prepare sales & use tax filings (multi-state) and nexus tracking; provide packages for payroll taxes (941/940, state), and 1099-NEC/1096 year-end. Strengthen internal controls (SOX-lite), document policies, maintain the close calendar and PBC lists for audits. Drive process automation in the ERP and spreadsheets (templates, checklists, reconciliations). What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; 2–5+ years of US accounting experience. Strong Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, reconciliations); superb attention to detail and ownership. Hands-on with an ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, QuickBooks Online). Working knowledge of US GAAP, AP/AR cycles, and multi-state sales/use tax basics. Clear written/verbal communication in English; ability to work cross-functionally. Work authorization in the United States. Nice to have
CPA/CMA (or in progress). Experience with ASC 606/842, SOX, BlackLine/FloQast, Power BI/Tableau, Avalara/TaxJar, and multi-entity/multi-currency. Seniority level
