Overview
As part of the Office of Career Management, the Senior Career Pathways Specialist develops and leads data-informed, selective, cohort-based programs that enhance undergraduate students’ career readiness and access to internship and employment opportunities. The Senior Career Pathways Specialist will build and leverage relationships with alumni, employers, and faculty to create meaningful industry connections that support students’ professional development. Additionally, this role will collaborate with Fisher’s academic and co-curricular programs to integrate career exploration and preparation into the student experience. This role works closely with Fisher offices (e.g., Undergraduate Programs Office, Office of ACCESS) and academic departments. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education in Business Administration, Higher Education, or similar area of study. 4 years of experience in career advising, student development, or a related area. Experience managing events and student programs. Strong interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills; Ability to work with people individually and in large group settings. Ability to work with varied stakeholders (i.e. faculty, staff, students, employers, etc.). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and career services platforms (e.g., Handshake, Big Interview, Interstride). Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to connect with people and create connections. Desired Qualifications
Master’s Degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Familiarity with labor market data and career readiness frameworks. Experience with data-informed program design, implementation, and assessment. Additional Information
The target hiring range for this job profile is $51,500-67,250. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc. Location: Gerlach Hall (0250) Position Type: Regular Shift: First Shift Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
