Senior Analyst with 2-4 years of real estate finance experience working with multifamily to assist with asset management and operations. Our analyst will be hands-on and will work closely with senior level management and will be exposed to many aspects of working in a real estate private equity company. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for oversight of analytics for both in-house and third party property services. This position will report directly to the Director of Operations and will support both the Asset Management and Operations departments. What You’ll Do
The Senior AM Analyst is responsible for supporting operations and asset management focusing on revenue optimization and expense reduction at both individual asset and portfolio level. This analyst will collate data from finance, operations, and asset management to develop analytics that pinpoint opportunities for value creation. Specific responsibilities include developing financial models, preparing reports for senior management and key stakeholders, collaborating with teams on budgets and business plans, conducting due diligence for capital events, auditing various revenue and expense line items, and monitoring property and market performance against strategic goals for revenue optimization / expense reduction. Valuation analysis for quarterly and annual mark-to-market performance reviews. Compile, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data from Yardi (or other PMS) and prepare dashboards and internal reports. Monitor KPIs such as occupancy, delinquency, leasing velocity, expenses, and NOI across the portfolio. Support budget creation, forecasting, and variance analysis at the property and portfolio level. Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities, inefficiencies, and operational risks. Assist in all aspects of due diligence (e.g. reviewing leases, contracts, historical operating statements, third party reports etc.), financing, and closing of new acquisitions, and refinancing and sales of existing assets. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages for ownership, lenders, and internal leadership. Work with investor relations and accounting teams to software to create summary investment memos for current investors Track leasing performance against comps and market trends; present findings with actionable recommendations. Support creation of business plans, board presentations, and investor updates. Process Improvement & Systems Support: Assist in standardizing SOPs for leasing, resident communication, work orders, and vendor management; provide support with technology systems (Yardi, RentCafe, CRM, VendorCafe, etc.), troubleshooting issues and ensuring data accuracy; help implement new tools and process enhancements to improve efficiency. Market Research & Benchmarking: Perform detailed market research on supply/demand fundamentals, economic trends, comparable sales, vacancy, and rental rates; conduct market rent surveys and competitor analysis to inform pricing and marketing strategies; track industry trends, regulatory changes, and regional dynamics affecting operations. Project & Transition Support: Assist in property transitions (takeovers, management changes, acquisitions, or dispositions); coordinate with regional and onsite teams to ensure smooth execution of transition tasks (leases, vendors, staff, compliance); assist with vendor bids, contract reviews, and project tracking. 2–4 years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, or related fields. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Hands-on experience with Yardi (preferred) or similar PMS platforms. Clear communication and presentation skills; able to turn data into insights. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools. Heavy Excel. Collaborative mindset, detail-oriented approach, and proactive problem-solving skills. Cross-Department Collaboration:
