The co-founders have completed $2.5 billion of real estate transactions and have office locations in Dallas, TX (headquarters), Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN.The firm currently owns and operates over 6,800 units across 29 multifamily properties located in the Los Angeles, Nashville,Dallas, Austin, Houston, Atlanta, and Charlotte markets. The Senior Analyst will work directly under the supervisor and will focus on collecting, preparing, and analyzing data useful in the asset management of all Lion Real Estate Group properties and will perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
SENIOR ANALYST, ASSET MANAGEMENT - Essential Functions
Collects, analyzes, and prepares data in the management of current assets. Develops and maintains comprehensive quarterly and monthly reporting packages to assist in monitoring performance in all critical areas: revenues, expenses, leasing, occupancy, etc. Works on specific projects for profit improvement, cost reduction and systems enhancements. Assist in Revenue Management by monitoring pricing recommendations, completing market surveys, and analyzing renewal offers. Conducts market research and analyzes market data including market occupancy, rental rates, demographics, competitor positioning and economic information. Updates and maintains roll-up financial models in excel, working with the asset management team to update business plan assumptions, as necessary. Performs financial analysis on assets under ownership and works with supervisor in creating property variance budgets. Assists in the preparation of annual property budgets as needed. Maintains, updates, and analyzes Capex reconciliation and all other operational trackers. Assists with ad-hoc/special projects as needed. Models in-place and prospective portfolio performance. Recommends processes to improve Company efficiency. Responsible for day-to-day communications with Supervisor and ensuring all reporting and tasks are completed on time. Maintains regular and consistent attendance according to required work schedule decided by the Company Provides exemplary customer service to residents, prospects, and guests and represents the Company in a professional manner at all times SENIOR ANALYST, ASSET MANAGEMENT - Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (English) Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player with excellent leadership skills Ability to work independently, prioritize duties, manage time efficiently, and multi-task. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
