Overview
About The Role: If payroll accuracy, clean audits, and zero-drama compliance are your thing—and you can switch from W-2s to interview schedules without dropping a beat—this role is built for you. You’ll own day-to-day payroll operations, support end-to-end recruiting, and be a go-to resource for employees and managers. Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
Run weekly and bi-monthly payroll in Paycor (or similar HRIS) with precision—employee records, deductions, taxes, filings. Prepare payroll reports (quarterly, year-end, W-2s, ACA) and handle reconciliations/audits. Track legislative updates and partner with vendors (benefits, 401(k), etc.).
Recruiting & Onboarding
Partner with hiring managers on full-cycle recruitment: postings, screening, interviews, offers. Support employer branding/sourcing; facilitate new hire orientation, I-9s, and file setup.
HR Admin & Employee Support
Be first line for questions on payroll, benefits, policies, and HR processes. Administer benefit changes/enrollment; maintain accurate, confidential records.
Projects & Compliance
Lead/support FMLA/leave management, system rollouts, policy updates, and process improvements. Coordinate compliance audits/reporting and liaise with staffing agencies.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s in HR/Accounting or equivalent experience (preferred). 3–5 years HR + payroll experience; Paycor/Paycom or similar strongly preferred. Strong grasp of payroll, wage & hour, and HR compliance. Recruiting/onboarding experience (manufacturing or corporate environment). Organized, detail-obsessed, and able to juggle multiple priorities. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Certifications (SHRM-CP/PHR or FPC/CPP) a plus. Microsoft Office proficiency; advanced Excel preferred. Why you’ll love it
Visible impact across the site and leadership exposure. Variety: from audits to offers to leave management—no rinse-and-repeat weeks. Competitive, comprehensive compensation & benefits. Apply:
