Location: Ideally, a Hybrid schedule requiring on-site presence 3x per week (Tuesday-Thursday) at our New York City office (28 W 23rd Street, NY, NY). Remote will be considered for the right candidate.

Schedule: Part-Time; Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (32 hours per week).

Compensation: Competitive pay up to $50.00/hour based on experience.

Interview Process: 1-2 rounds of video interviews.

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Temporary Account Manager, Lead to drive the strategic growth and business development for our primary accounts, including Sephora, Sephora @ Kohl’s, and Amazon. This role is crucial for maximizing our brand’s presence and sales across all key retail and digital touchpoints within these vital partnerships.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in premium beauty account management, a deep understanding of the Sephora business model, and a passion for driving results through strategic execution and collaboration. This is a part-time role reporting to the Executive Director, Account Lead.

As the primary point of contact for these accounts, you will own the business relationship and performance:

Strategic Account Leadership:

Lead the development and execution of strategic business plans for

Sephora , ensuring alignment with both brand objectives and retailer goals. Define and drive sales targets/KPIs.

Partnership Management:

Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at Sephora (buyers, marketing, field leadership) to lead business reviews, negotiate agreements, and identify growth opportunities.

Sales & Performance Optimization:

Drive top-line sales growth by optimizing product availability, positioning, and promotional strategies across Sephora retail and e-commerce. Analyze sales data, monitor inventory, and manage pricing/promotional negotiations for maximum profitability.

Marketing & Activations:

Collaborate with Sephora's marketing teams to develop and execute impactful, tailored campaigns, product launches, and in-store activations (visual merchandising, sampling).

Cross-Functional Alignment:

Partner closely with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Education, Operations) to ensure seamless execution, from product launches to inventory management and sales training.

Financial & Reporting:

Manage budgets for account-related activities, accurately forecast retail sales, and provide regular, data-driven performance reports and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications

Experience: 5-7 years of progressive experience in account management, retail partnerships, or sales leadership, with a proven track record in the beauty industry. Direct experience working with Sephora or similar premium beauty retailers is strongly preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Skills:

Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills to inform strategy.

Proven negotiation, leadership, and influencing skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to deliver compelling business reviews.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Familiarity with Sephora @ Kohl’s and Amazon business models is a plus.
