Our Job Rotation Program participants experience four 6-month rotation assignments in finance-related positions over two years to provide broad exposure in different facets of finance across campus. Program Highlights: Regular interactions with senior university leadership Hands-on experiences in diverse settings across campus, gaining exposure, networking, and mentoring opportunities Participation with cohort in ongoing professional development and in building an inclusive environment Diverse assignments across business units and organizational functions Eligibility and support in transitioning to a post-program role on campus, including participation in our Alumni Network Rotational experiences are designed by the program to meet university priorities and are tailored to individual interests. Employees are hired and onboarded as a cohort. All three tracks of the program—Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology—prepare rotators to transition to permanent roles on campus at the end of the program. Upon successful completion of the program, rotating employees can expect: A growth mindset and exposure to varied people, perspectives, and skills A wide network of colleagues across campus Greater involvement and ownership in professional development Opportunity to develop and grow in your role and pursue a career path aligned with your values The Job Rotation Program is designed to develop high-potential talent into future leaders of the university. Upon successful completion of the two-year program, participants receive an official program certification. Cohort members work with program management in the transition to permanent positions that align with career interests and university needs. There are multiple positions available. The anticipated start date for this position is July 2026. Key Job Responsibilities: Engage in developmental activities specific to the Rotation Program and each rotation Analyze data and trends, compile progress reports, and provide recommendations in support of the assigned operational work unit Implement and execute established policies and procedures for a designated work unit to align with objectives Build relationships with rotation departments, cohort, alumni, and JRP Manager; contribute to the growth of assigned departments and program Schedule logistics and secure resources for a designated work unit to support day-to-day operations Department:

The starting salary for the position is $53,000 and is not negotiable. Benefits include paid time off, health/dental/vision/life insurance, tax-advantaged savings accounts, and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) pension fund. Required Qualifications: Ability to work on-campus in Madison, WI (Hybrid flexibility will vary by rotation) Learning agility and desire for experience across diverse finance/domains including budgeting, financial statements, modeling, and research administration Adaptability to new environments and flexibility to adjust actions and mindset Effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills Ability to take initiative, prioritize workload, manage projects, and work within ambiguity Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving and decision-making skills Foundational financial knowledge and/or related experience Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; ability to analyze and interpret financial data Proficiency in Excel (formulas and pivot tables) Ability to work with all levels of employees and management Preferred Qualifications: Prior relevant internship or entry-level experience Knowledge of financial principles, practices, and procedures Experience with projects and day-to-day administrative financial work Ability to analyze and communicate financial and business information and metrics Presentation skills Education:

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field by start date How to Apply:
