RCIS Crop Claims Specialist – Zurich North America. RCIS is a leading crop insurance provider with coverage across all 50 states and a network of licensed agents. This role supports the RCIS Crop Claims team, primarily serving in Iowa. Work from a home-based office with a 40-hour work week. Approximately 75% travel is expected to cover the territory. The ideal candidate will live and service within the following Iowa counties: Kossuth, Humboldt, Webster, Greene, Boone, Story, Hamilton, Wright, or Hancock. Responsibilities

Work the most complex claims, involving multiple causes of loss, multiple quality issues, and subrogation claims Exercise judgment to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts, and applying applicable procedures Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing coverage for claims and determining whether the loss falls within the coverage Assist with training of lower-level adjusters for Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) and Crop Hail (CH) Complete Quality Assurance reviews (e.g., conflict of interest, actual production history, high-dollar reviews on MPCI policies) with the ability to modify unit structure pending review outcome Complete claims on specialty crops as designated by the local manager or area Complete Crop Hail re-inspections when requested for quality assurance purposes Handle claims for 508H (Risk Management Agency pilot) crops Assist the national training team in adjuster trainings Serve as subject matter expert for projects and committees as assigned by management Assist with Team Member reviews and identify trends or issues affecting quality assurance of the Crop Claims team Assist with claims that may require subrogation and/or may lead to litigation Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in education opportunities, staying current with industry trends, networking, and participating in professional societies Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the crop insurance and claims adjusting area Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within territory RCIS Crop Adjuster Physical Requirements: ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25–50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong organization and prioritization skills Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Previous experience working crop hail Compensation and Other Information

compensation is influenced by location, role, skills, and experience. The proposed salary range for this position is $46,200.00 - $75,600.00, with a short-term incentive bonus eligibility of 10%.
