AGL is looking for a Quality Auditor to work for our PMO office in Huntsville, AL. The Quality Auditor (QA) is responsible for oversight of Equipment Redistribution & Divestiture (ERDS) at three Army CT locations: Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, and Fort Carson, as well as 11 CONUS and Outside CONUS (OCONUS) locations during fly-away missions. The QA will assist the Quality Control Manager (QCM) with developing, implementing, and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and all applicable U.S. Army supply, maintenance, and transportation requirements. The QA will oversee and communicate with CT Site Quality Assurance/Control and report to the QCM. The QA will maintain quality processes, conduct audits, lead corrective and preventive actions, and collaborate with Army representatives, project leadership, and contractor personnel to ensure mission success and contractual compliance. The role requires a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Uses DoD Publications, Army Regulations (ARs), Army Pamphlets (DA Pams), Technical Manuals, Performance Work Statement (PWS), and other publications and directives in audits and duties.

Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) IAW ISO 9001:2015 requirements and standards.

Conducts internal audits IAW ISO 9001:2015. Evaluates CT location sites' performance based on ISO, statutory, regulatory, PWS (contractual), and QMS requirements.

Develops and updates internal audit checklists for internal audits.

Evaluates audit findings and results. Prepares and submits audit reports, evaluates responses, and assists with follow-up and corrective actions as directed.

Evaluates, investigates, and tracks Government evaluations and findings. Ensures timely response, evaluates responses, and assists with follow-up and corrective actions as directed.

Analyzes problems to determine if they are human error or systemic. Develops and recommends corrective actions.

Identifies areas for improvement. Initiates and monitors Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) in line with applicable procedures.

Coordinates preparation, production and submission of Quality Deficiency Reports and associated documentation.

Initiates, monitors, and assists with resolving Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Preventive Action Requests (PARs) as directed IAW applicable procedures.

Conducts process and product measurements and analysis IAW ISO 9001:2015, including developing performance metrics. Collects, evaluates, and analyzes data to determine performance trends and assess compliance with Quality Policy and Objectives.

Provides input, develops and updates presentation slides, and participates in Quality Reviews, Management Reviews, Process Improvement Teams (PITs), and other events as directed.

Uses technical writing skills to prepare reports, technical papers, procedures, work instructions, and other documents and correspondence as directed. Assists with the development, update, and review of procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, and other documents as directed.

Maintains the Quality Document System database, reviews and updates publications as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in quality management, logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, or related field (preferred).

ISO 9001:2015 training highly desired.

Minimum two (2) years of quality assurance experience in logistics, supply, transportation, or maintenance operations.

Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 preferred.

ASQ certifications (CQA, CMQ/OE, or CQI) are a plus.
