ASE is looking for a Senior Cisco Network Engineer to work in Honolulu, HI. The role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting extensive network infrastructure, acting as SME across multiple enclaves with varying security classifications. Maintain, install, update, and secure network environments using Cisco products such as IOS, routers, switches, ISE, Firepower, and ACI. Manage other critical components like F5, Palo Alto, VMware NSX, SPLUNK, and ServiceNow. Lead projects ensuring devices and applications are secure and operational. Perform DISA STIG validations, manage cable systems, develop workflows for Cisco assets, and monitor security postures using ACAS. Collaborate with developers on workflows within ServiceNow. Configure network applications, maintain LAN/WAN environments, manage network security, handle IT service requests, create network diagrams and SOPs, manage device lifecycle, and provide monthly status reports to the COR-appointed TA. Support scheduled and unscheduled outages, including occasional after-hours and weekend work, to ensure network security and continuity. Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance. Meet IAW DoD 8140.03-M Intermediate Proficiency Level. Hold ONE of the following 8570 IAT-II certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP. Current Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP). Minimum High School Diploma/GED. At least 5 years of DoD network engineering experience or 8 years total network engineering experience. Experience managing Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls (Firepower), Cisco ACI, ISE, Palo Alto firewalls, SPLUNK, ACAS, WhatsUpGold, F5, VMware NSX, and Microsoft Visio. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Ability to carry 40 pounds and work outside normal hours for outages. Job Details
