Employment Type: Full time Shift: Evening Shift Location: Chelsea, MI Description: Surgical Care Tech in the Operating Room. In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery. Position Purpose: The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects endoscopes and other related equipment as assigned. Performs surgical care tech duties as assigned (e.g., transporting patients, vital signs, urine pregnancy test, discontinuing IVs, etc.). Performs clerical duties as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (cleaning stretchers, equipment, terminal cleaning of the Surgical Department, etc.). Shift Available: Evening Shift - 3pm-11:30pm Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per period – every two weeks) Required Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma; a minimum of one-year previous related experience.
