Position Information University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a globally recognized public research university. The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy trains over 600 PharmD and 145 graduate students and is ranked as the number one pharmacy school in the United States. Postdoctoral scholars contribute to university-wide research excellence and advance knowledge in their fields.
Primary Purpose: To conduct innovative therapeutics research focusing on extracellular vesicle tracking for improved delivery and diagnostic precision.
Position Summary: The successful candidate will develop novel therapeutics for various diseases, with a specific emphasis on extracellular vesicle-based drug delivery systems.
Responsibilities
Design and execute experiments to develop and characterize extracellular vesicle-based therapeutics.
Perform animal studies, including tail‑vein injections, to assess therapeutic efficacy and biodistribution.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate pharmacological data and support translational efforts.
Minimum Education and Experience PhD in a relevant biomedical or pharmaceutical discipline.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Expertise in drug delivery and extracellular vesicle biology.
Experience conducting animal studies.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Proficiency with tail‑vein injection techniques.
