Overview
Community Medicine Advanced Practice Provider - Endocrinology is a full-time role located in Thomasville, NC. The position is with Novant Health Medical Group and reports to practice physicians to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services as directed. Responsibilities
Provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians. Foster a team-based environment that emphasizes collaboration, engagement, and community involvement. Commit to leveraging diversity and inclusion in support of quality care. Foster a safe patient environment driven by the principle of “First Do No Harm.” Qualifications
Education:
Master’s Degree required. Graduate of an NCCPA-accredited Physician Assistant program. Experience:
Minimum one year in a physician practice setting preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current NP license in the appropriate state, required. NCCPA certification and current DEA registry, required. Additional Skills:
Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Benefits
