Job Summary
Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a compassionate Hematology Ambulatory Advanced Practice Provider to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians. Our specialists are committed to working with you and the rest of your care team to create a personalized treatment plan that is designed with you in mind. Our expert clinicians provide the latest treatments or management of medical oncology conditions as well as hematologic conditions. Responsibilities and duties include supporting patient-centered care within a collaborative team environment and contributing to a high-performing provider network.
Responsibilities
Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time. Work in an environment that fosters teamwork, engagement and community involvement. Commit to leveraging diversity and inclusion in support of quality care. Foster a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm". Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 4 days per week (rotating Monday–Friday). Supporting locations: NHRMC, Brunswick Forest, Scotts Hill.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA-accredited physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Experience: One to three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA license in the appropriate state; NCCPA Certification and current DEA registration; ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) required. Additional Skills: Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with management and physicians.
