The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical accounting expertise, and a deep understanding of cost accounting principles , inventory valuation, and manufacturing performance metrics. This role will play a key part in driving financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the accounting function including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close Lead and develop the accounting team; provide mentorship and ensure continuous improvement Manage and refine standard cost systems; analyze variances and support cost reduction initiatives Ensure accurate inventory valuation, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP Partner with operations and plant management to provide financial insight and improve performance Maintain internal controls and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance as applicable Support external audits, tax filings, and banking relationships Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred) 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-4 years in a manufacturing controller or cost accounting leadership role Strong knowledge of standard cost accounting, inventory control, and manufacturing finance Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Excel; ERP experience required Ability to lead, influence, and communicate across departments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized with a continuous improvement mindset Preferred Skills Experience with lean manufacturing and KPI reporting Exposure to international operations or multi-entity environments #INJUN2025 #ZRCFS Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Manufacturing Controller” roles.
