Responsibilities for a User Acceptance Tester include but are not limited to:
Execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on business and system requirements. Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure resolution. Participate in demo sessions and sprint reviews, providing usability and functionality feedback. Automate manual test cases to enhance testing efficiency. Support continuous improvement by contributing to best practices and process enhancements. Candidates for the User Acceptance Tester must meet the following requirements to be considered: 3+ years of experience in software testing (UAT or QA). Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally). Experience performing both manual and automated testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. API testing experience using tools such as POSTMAN or Rest Assured; strong understanding of HTTP protocols and response validation. Preferred Skills: Database testing: ability to write NoSQL queries, understand schemas, and validate data integrity. End-to-end process thinking: capable of designing real-world test scenarios to identify potential system gaps. Risk assessment and prioritization: strong analytical skills to focus testing efforts effectively. Adaptability and business acumen to quickly learn new processes and systems. Strong stakeholder communication and ability to facilitate requirement clarification sessions. What's in this User Acceptance Tester position for you? Pay Details:
$39.45 to $53.51 per hour
