Mass Spectrometry Laboratory Analyst

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in laboratory testing and analytical method development, utilizing cutting-edge mass spectrometry techniques, particularly LC-MS/MS. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to innovative R&D projects that sustain existing products and develop new ones, all while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. What you'll be doing: Support R&D Projects : Engage in laboratory testing as part of research and development initiatives aimed at sustaining market products and pioneering new product developments. Method Development and Validation : Participate in the development, evaluation, and validation of new analytical methods to analyze raw materials and finished products, primarily using targeted LC-MS analysis. Documentation and Compliance : Document and review results meticulously in electronic laboratory notebooks, adhering to established Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Procedure Management : Create and update equipment and analytical procedures, and assist in the procurement of raw materials and analytical equipment. Data Interpretation : Analyze experimental data and present insightful conclusions to your supervisor, contributing to informed decision-making. Protocol Writing : Write comprehensive protocols and reports in English, ensuring clarity and precision in communication. Quality Assurance : Uphold quality system requirements, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and GDP standards, as well as environmental, health, and safety guidelines. Laboratory Maintenance : Maintain laboratory reagents, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. Production Support : If necessary, participate in the organization and support of feasibility and development batches of various formulations. What you'll bring: Educational Background : A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences) with 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 1+ years of experience, or a PhD with 0+ years of experience. Technical Expertise : Working knowledge of mass spectrometry and chromatography (gas and/or liquid). Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across functional and geographical boundaries, and the ability to present technical results to both technical and non-technical audiences. Personal Responsibility : A proactive attitude with independent ownership of analysis and results. Regulatory Knowledge : A solid understanding of ICH guidelines and current Good Practice (cGxP) standards. Adaptability : The ability to challenge the status quo, adapt to changes, and work collaboratively in a team environment. Risk Management : Skills to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, effectively communicating them to supervisors and customers.
