About the role AAK USA currently has an exciting career opportunity for SupplyChain Specialist in the Supply Chain Organization. The position will work out of both the Edison,NJ and Port Newark, NJ AAK sites.

The Supply Chain Specialist Inventory is responsible for maintaining balancedinventory levels through effective production scheduling, order coordination,and inventory planning. This role focuses on aligning supply with demand by managinginbound raw materials and maintaining the weekly production schedule. With astrong foundation in data analysis and inventory management principles, thisrole supports continuous improvement efforts and ensures product availabilityto meet operational and customer needs.

Responsibilities Accountable for: Coordinating order scheduling and revisions to support production and shipping timelines Developing and maintaining weekly production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and operational capacity Managing equipment and resource planning to ensure optimal inventory of finished and intermediate goods Overseeing inbound raw material handling and coordinating with operations to ensure timely availability Preparing and communicating daily material transfer plans to relevant stakeholders Partnering with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process improvements Managing internal component orders and ensuring timely, accurate fulfillment Processing internal inventory transfers and maintaining accurate system records Supporting the development of contingency supply plans in collaboration with leadership

About you BA/BS degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, accounting, information systems or other related field.Can be waived with equivalent business experience. Experience in a production/ inventory/ forecasting/ demand planning environment. A basic understanding of supply chain processes and the impact of inventory. Has the ability to study, interpret and develop a thorough understanding of problems and opportunities. Can identify ways to improve inventory management tools and develop new processes. Ability to present findings that drive understanding, alignment, and informed decision making. Ability to coordinate cross-functional research activities to improve existing processes Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications, especially excel. Demonstrated analytical and technical skills, comfortable using ERP, Inventory Management, and forecasting systems. Ability to work effectively with all levels and within team environments.
