This role involves leading plumbing design projects, collaborating across departments, and developing innovative solutions for a variety of facilities including power, process, healthcare, and government sites. Responsibilities

Lead plumbing engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring efficiency and quality. Coordinate with clients, project teams, and vendors to meet project needs and specifications. Prepare specifications, data sheets, RFQs, bid summaries, and purchase recommendations. Review vendor drawings and coordinate data exchange with suppliers and other disciplines. Develop project schedules, scopes, budgets, and staffing plans; manage change orders effectively. Apply industry standards, codes, and best practices in plumbing design. Perform quality reviews of drawings and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Conduct field inspections, resolve installation issues, and oversee testing and commissioning. Prepare technical reports, develop client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and project performance reporting. Mentor team members and promote professional development. Ensure adherence to safety policies and effective communication across disciplines. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program. Minimum of 7 years of plumbing engineering experience. Knowledge of plumbing codes (ASPE, IPC, UPC) and industry standards. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, CAD software). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) preferred. Willingness to travel locally and nationally (up to 25%).
