Torch Technologies, recognized as one of the best workplaces by Forbes magazine and the Association of Mechanical Engineers, offers an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Engineer (ISSM) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, supporting our EPASS GB contract. The role involves supporting the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES) and the RAMPOD program, which provides serialized asset tracking and critical financial data management for Pods and Integrated Systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide cybersecurity support to the PMO/Capability Development Manager (CDM) in accordance with DoDI 8500.01. Assess and monitor cybersecurity risks, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards such as RMF, CSF, and NIST. Serve as the primary cybersecurity technical advisor to the AO, PM, and ISO, ensuring cybersecurity integration throughout the system lifecycle. Maintain cybersecurity certifications and ensure all documentation and authorization processes are current and accessible. Support development and monitoring of ISCM strategies, and assess configuration changes for cybersecurity impact. Monitor security events, evaluate security controls, and report significant events or changes. Ensure proper cybersecurity training and certifications for ISSOs and privileged users. Oversee the proper acquisition, operation, and disposal of AF IT assets in compliance with relevant DoD directives. The ISSM should possess advanced knowledge and experience in cybersecurity, capable of performing tasks independently and overseeing junior personnel. They should have extensive experience in areas such as access control, configuration management, system and communications protection, incident handling, and security training. The candidate must have experience with DoDI 8500.01, AFI 17-130, and related cybersecurity duties, including using automated testing tools and DoD tracking systems. Education: Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience, including 5 in the DoD; or 15 years of related experience with proper certifications, including 8 in the DoD. Certification Requirements: Must possess and maintain at least one IAM Level III Cybersecurity certification such as ISACA CISM, (ISC)2 CISSP, GIAC GSLC, or EC Council CCISO, as per DoD 8140 and DoD 8570.01-M. Other Qualifications: Must be a US Citizen with a T3/Secret Clearance. Desirable skills include knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like CheckMarx, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, and Bitbucket. About the Company
