What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Provide technical support to Sophos customers, focusing on quality and satisfaction for network products - Conduct advanced troubleshooting via remote sessions to resolve installation and configuration issues - Handle technical escalations within team response and resolution targets - Provide feedback to improve technical support procedures and customer satisfaction - Participate in weekend and on-call shifts on a rotational basis
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT field, including roles as a Systems/Network Administrator or technical support - Proficiency with security products such as firewalls, IPSec, IDS/IPS, and VPNs - Experience with Linux operating systems at the command line level - Familiarity with Active Directory (or any LDAP variant) group policy configuration and deployment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with cloud virtualization platforms such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure - Strong analytical skills to tackle complex problems - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively guide customers through issue resolution
