Nutrafol The Salon Business Development Manager (Kansas City or Minneapolis) is a field sales position located in the metro area. The role is responsible for driving business, Nutrafol brand loyalty, and Nutrafol brand recognition in a defined geographic territory through new salon business development and existing salon business growth strategies. The candidate must reside in Kansas City, MO or Minneapolis, MN and be located near a major airport due to frequent travel across the territory (IA, KS, MN, MO, NE, ND, OK, SD, AR). The role works with the Salon Director and inside sales team to grow territory and salon sales through product education, sell-in and sell-through strategies, business consultation, merchandising, promotions, and relationship management. Responsibilities include creating relationships with salon owners and stylists, managing rotation of existing and new business, maintaining a funnel of potential new business, supporting sell-in and sell-through strategies, delivering in-salon presentations and product classes, launching new salons and retail accounts, meeting new business goals, selling new products to existing salons, achieving revenue goals, supporting retail sales through merchandising and promotions, managing meeting schedules, executing education plans, promoting and assisting in company-sponsored events, and attending company meetings and trainings. The role requires up to 70% overnight travel. Requirements include a bachelor's degree or 3-5 years relevant sales and retail experience, salon professional outside sales and salon industry experience, strong communication and presentation skills, high sales drive, ability to prospect and close new business, negotiation skills, strategic and analytical thinking, service orientation, adaptability, competitiveness, collaboration, and computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Slack, and Salesforce.
