The

Senior Project Engineer

will support QA, Supply Chain, suppliers, and customers to ensure the continued operational safety of airworthy flight hardware. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support QA, Supply Chain, and suppliers with drawing interpretation, manufacturing, and inspection methods. Evaluate non-conforming materials for fit, function, safety, and reliability, and communicate findings. Complete engineering changes with substantiation and drawing updates for product improvement. Provide support to customers and operators regarding products. Participate in design reviews for supplier and product changes or improvements. Review first article inspections and documentation for production parts. Review manufacturing process plans and provide feedback to suppliers. Guide junior engineers on designs, methods, regulations, and procedures. Develop test plans and design tooling/fixtures for inspection. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. 5-10 years of aerospace/mechanical design or manufacturing experience. Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Pro-Engineer, SolidWorks). Experience with aerospace design, testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.

Knowledge and Skills:

English language proficiency. MS Office and CAD software skills. Mathematical and reasoning skills, including geometry and trigonometry. Knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing methods, and inspection standards. Strong organizational and team skills, with attention to detail. Ability to analyze and interpret technical instructions and data.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Primarily office work with some exposure to manufacturing environments, requiring physical activity such as lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, walking, and other physical movements. Additional Information:
