Job Purpose
The position is responsible for business analysis and process design/implementation for one or more end-to-end processes within SDO. This includes documenting detailed processes, supporting operational process owners to modify, monitor, improve, and standardize processes to achieve efficiency, timeliness, quality, and maturity. The role also involves using analytical methodologies and tools (e.g., lean/six-sigma, value stream analysis, FMEA, scenario analysis, simulations, prototypes), standards, and consulting techniques to help teams re-imagine operations. Building roadmaps and execution plans to reach the target state is also a key responsibility.
Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in business process and analytical design related to process improvement projects OR 6 years of experience in the same area.
Experience in using data and analytics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
Facilitation skills.
Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma transformation philosophies, principles, tools, and techniques.
Health insurance experience.
Service operations experience in Call Center, Claims, etc.
