Overview
Value Chain Process Engineer, NA (Delivery) – This role is a highly specialized, strategic position responsible for designing and optimizing mission-critical processes that power Vantage’s operational engine. Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Excellence, this role applies advanced process engineering to identify inefficiencies, reduce friction, and standardize best practices across departments and geographies. This role can be based in Port Washington, WI or Shackleford County, TX. Responsibilities
Lead the design, documentation, and implementation of scalable business processes across the delivery lifecycle. Rapidly design and implement scalable processes using hybrid methodologies tailored to context. Conduct lightweight, high-impact process mapping and value stream analysis with minimal disruption to business teams. Identify and eliminate friction points in workflows and handoffs without relying on traditional workshop-heavy approaches. Apply advanced process engineering techniques (e.g., value stream mapping, root cause analysis, statistical process control) to identify and eliminate inefficiencies. Standardize and improve handoffs, workflows, and decision-making pathways between enterprise and delivery functions. Strategic Execution & Innovation
Prototype and deploy data-driven process improvements using agile, iterative methods aligned with business speed and complexity. Synthesize enterprise and functional strategies to identify where process improvements have the greatest impact across the value chain. Prioritize efforts based on strategic alignment, risk, and value creation to avoid sub-optimization. Engage with business partners as internal customers, guiding focus toward high-value opportunities. Build trust through clear, empathetic communication and actionable, relevant recommendations. Combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving to develop non-standard solutions with measurable impact. Partner with VP and SVP to translate strategic goals into operational improvements via structured methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Embed with business teams to observe and optimize processes with minimal disruption to daily operations. Collaborate with Real Estate, Commercial, Product, Procurement, Construction Delivery, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and IT to reflect real-world needs. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering insights that influence enterprise-wide decisions. Support global alignment efforts with EMEA and APAC for consistency in process standardization and execution. Systems Thinking & KPI Alignment
Ensure process designs are robust and supported by system workflows, data structures, and performance metrics. Map the flow of information and data dependencies; identify gaps in data sources that impede performance and decision making. Support data governance by identifying gaps in source-of-truth systems and ensuring data integrity. Partner with IT and Data Science to reflect process outputs in digital tools and dashboards. Develop frameworks to monitor process performance and create feedback loops for ongoing optimization, learning, and accountability. Support analytics and automation integration into process designs with Data Science and AI teams, ensuring scalable solutions grounded in operational realities. Thought Leadership & Standards
Establish and maintain process engineering standards and toolkits across the organization for rigor, speed, and adaptability. Serve as technical advisor and role model for process excellence, combining execution with guidance. Mentor junior team members in technical process engineering and agile, embedded improvement approaches. Represent the Enterprise Excellence team in strategic forums and enterprise planning sessions, advocating scalable, high-value transformation. Operate with ownership and accountability; roll up sleeves to deliver results in ambiguity and complexity. Additional Duties

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Research, Business, or related field required. Lean Six Sigma certification or advanced training strongly preferred. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Experience
7+ years in process engineering, operational excellence, or business transformation roles. Construction experience is a plus; familiarity with construction workflows and platforms (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore). Proven success in designing and optimizing cross-functional processes in complex, matrixed organizations. Experience in REITs, data centers, construction, infrastructure, or high-growth tech environments preferred. Skills
Deep expertise in process mapping and modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Bizzdesign), value stream mapping, Lean/Six Sigma. Familiarity with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, Signavio, UiPath Process Mining) is a plus. Working knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, PowerBI) and their role in end-to-end process performance. Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to align diverse audiences in fast-paced or ambiguous environments. Strong analytical, systems-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence at all levels, from frontline teams to executive leadership. Independent worker with strategic initiative and minimal oversight. Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills. Travel
