Overview
The Requirements Analyst for the DeCPTR-Nuclear project will play a vital role in identifying, analyzing, and documenting the requirements necessary for nuclear radiation survivability testing. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure that all program requirements are clearly defined, aligned with strategic objectives, and translated into actionable plans for engineering and testing teams. The Requirements Analyst will facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that all requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and research institutions, to gather detailed requirements for nuclear radiation testing.
Documentation and Analysis: Analyze and document requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with program objectives and DoD policies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations, facilitating clear communication and alignment of objectives.
Translation of Requirements: Translate customer requirements into detailed engineering objectives and test plans that guide the technical teams in executing the testing activities.
Validation and Verification: Work with engineering and testing teams to validate and verify that the requirements are being met throughout the testing process.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all requirements are documented and managed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards and DoD regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in requirements management and contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in requirements analysis or a related field, preferably within the defense or aerospace sectors.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
Security Clearance: Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical Skills: Familiarity with requirements management tools and methodologies, as well as a basic understanding of nuclear radiation testing.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex requirements to diverse audiences.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues related to requirements management.
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering cooperation and knowledge sharing.
Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools, including Agile or Lean practices.
Compliance: Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards and DoD regulatory requirements related to requirements management.
