H&R Block . We are seeking a front-line manager to lead three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. Responsibilities

Provide leadership over three tax offices and manage day-to-day operations, staffing, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to develop and implement office growth plans and client growth targets, including local partnerships and community involvement. Recruit and interview candidates for tax office associate positions in collaboration with the DGM. Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with the Associate Relations Center as needed. Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training, coaching, and recognizing outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. What you’ll bring to the team

Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Strong collaboration with leadership to drive growth and client acquisition through local partnerships. Experience in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office roles. Ability to conduct performance reviews and address issues in partnership with the appropriate teams. Ability to train and coach associates, fostering a high-performing, client-focused culture. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead meetings and coordinate across offices. Schedule development and labor management across multiple locations. Willingness to travel between offices. Tax-related duties as needed after completing required tax training. Your Expertise

People management experience with the ability to develop associates. Track record of executing growth plans and leading a growth-oriented culture. Strong decision-making and judgment in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision. Customer-centric mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Computer proficiency in MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Why work for us
