Lifeguard
for our Moore Aquatics Center. Position Summary / Essential Functions
We are seeking a responsible and vigilant lifeguard to oversee the safety of our residents during their time in the Moore Aquatics Center. The lifeguard will monitor water activities, enforce safety rules, and respond quickly to water emergencies. The lifeguard is required to work full or part time, including flexible hours and weekends. Skills / Qualifications
Lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certified Ability to inspect and monitor pool equipment Maintain water safety standards High school diploma Committed to ensuring quality care for the residents Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills Ability to engage others with an individualized and enthusiastic approach Ability to create and implement aquatic programs for residents with varying abilities Reliable, flexible and adaptable to changing departmental needs Must be able to work a rotation of shifts, including evening and weekend hours Experience in adapted aquatics preferred Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred Benefits
