Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting or finance within a manufacturing environment. This role will support our financial operations, including day-to-day AR/AP transactions and month-end close processes, and will play a key role in implementing and optimizing our new ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analytical insights to drive business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and prepare reports for management review.
  • Assist in the implementation, testing, and optimization of the new ERP system to ensure seamless financial integration.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and process documentation.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in financial reporting and controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with ERP implementation is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with system configuration, testing, and user training during ERP rollouts.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management.
  • Experience working in continuous improvement and Six Sigma environments.
