Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team on the north side of Indianapolis. This position is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, managing a team of accounting professionals, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.
  • Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback.
• Accounting Operations:
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Compliance and Auditing:
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and systems.
  • Implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Experience:
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
