Job Title: Accounting Manager Location: North Side, Indianapolis, IN Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team on the north side of Indianapolis. This position is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, managing a team of accounting professionals, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals. Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback.
Accounting Operations:
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies. Coordinate internal and external audits.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and systems. Implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Experience:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
