Location: Ithaca, NY 14850
Contract- 3+months
Schedule: MonFri, 9:00 AM5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21-$22.34/HR
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! Were looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our medium-sized Patient Service Center in Ithaca, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages pediatrics through geriatrics
Handle urine, thyroid testing, and hard sticks
Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
Work alongside one other full-time phlebotomist in a supportive team environment
Requirements:
Minimum 1.5 years of phlebotomy experience required
Experience drawing blood from pediatric and geriatric patients preferred
Prior PSC (Patient Service Center) experience strongly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Vaccines required: TB and Hepatitis B
Must be able to stand for extended periods (majority of the shift)
Computer skills and experience with data entry and processing
Reliable transportation is a must. Training will be conducted at a different Patient Service Center location during the first 12 weeks. This includes completing computer-based learning paths.
