Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

A leading global manufacturer is looking to bring on an experienced Accounting Manager to strengthen their finance operations. This is a hybrid position based in Chicago, with three days a week in the office.

In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in core accounting functions, while also helping guide financial decisions that impact multiple sites across the organization. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical side of accounting and the cross-functional collaboration that drives bigger-picture results.

Your Impact

• Managing monthly and quarterly close processes across multiple locations
• Reviewing financial data, reconciliations, and trial balances for accuracy
• Working closely with operations and leadership teams to align financial reporting with business goals
• Leading internal and external audit efforts and ensuring audit readiness
• Supporting cost tracking, variance analysis, and inventory management initiatives
• Identifying ways to improve processes, increase efficiency, and develop stronger internal controls
• Contributing to the development and refinement of accounting policies and procedures

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, ideally with exposure to manufacturing or multi-site operations
• Public accounting foundation experience is required
• Strong grasp of GAAP and international accounting standards
• Experience working with foreign currency and global entities is a plus
• Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail
