Allied Building Service Company of Detroit is hiring: Dock & Door Technician in

Overview

We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Dock & Door Technician to service, install, and repair commercial doors and dock equipment. In this role, you’ll work with overhead doors, rolling steel doors, dock levelers, and more. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all installations and repairs are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Location: Detroit, MI (and nearby cities)

Pay: Up to $44 an hour

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial dock levelers, automatic doors, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure proper functionality.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national safety codes.
• Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with commercial doors.
• Holds a valid driver\'s license.
• Experience with overhead doors, sectional doors, rolling steel doors, etc.
