Door and Dock Service Technician - St. Louis

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking skilled technicians with electrical inspection, service, and repair experience for the Door and Dock Service Technician - St. Louis role. The qualified candidate will be competent with the installation and repair of Commercial and Industrial Rolling and Panel Overhead Doors, Dock Levelers, Dock Locks, Safety Gates and Truck Shelters, and will be able to supervise others and oversee projects with minimal supervision. Technicians should work safely with integrity at all times. Ideal candidates will have strong electrical skills, including troubleshooting, motor control, and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Commercial and Industrial Rolling and Panel Overhead Doors, Dock Levelers, Dock Locks, Safety Gates, and Truck Shelters.
• Perform electrical inspection, service, and repair tasks; troubleshoot motor control and wiring.
• Supervise others and oversee projects within a job with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and proper conduct on all assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Overhead Door Technician
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Computer proficient
• Exceptional customer service skills

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check (DISA) and submit to random and annual drug testing as required.
