Job Summary

Our Dock & Door Technicians, a.k.a. “Service Professionals,” comprise the core of our preventative and emergency response services. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues in places such as commercial buildings, aircraft hangars, schools, and public safety facilities, and may require visiting multiple sites in a day. The role offers exposure to some of the largest operations in North America.

What You’ll Do

Service Professionals are responsible for hands-on customer care. They troubleshoot, service, inspect, install, and repair industrial equipment of all shapes and sizes. The role involves paperwork for work orders, and operates a company vehicle to visit different customer sites. Safety and OSHA compliance are a major focus for the company.

What We Look For

Qualified candidates who answer yes to the questions below and bring the following skills:

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience; focus on execution, quality, and impact for Miner customers.
  • Ability to repair industrial facilities, including doors, loading docks, and dock-levelers.
  • Desire to learn welding, steel fabrication, and electrical work. Hydraulic and pneumatic experience is a plus; please call it out on your submission.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently while on the road for hours each day.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to think through complex situations critically.
  • Technical school training and OEM certifications are desired but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime opportunities available.
  • A clean driving record and a valid Driver’s License for the state of employment is required.
