Education: High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require specific technical training). Recent graduates are welcomed to apply.

Requirements:
- Proficient in operating a wide variety of construction machinery.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. lift; ability to work in varying weather conditions; ability to sit for extended periods of time while operating machinery.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to join our construction team. As a Superintendent you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery to assist with construction projects. This includes, but is not limited to, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and other construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment, a strong safety orientation, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Work with Project Manager to manage projects.
- Safely operate construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, graders, cranes, forklifts, and skid steers to perform tasks like excavation, grading, lifting, and hauling materials.
- Use machines for tasks like trenching, site leveling, moving dirt, demolition, and material transport.
- Work with Project Manager
- Assist in project coordination and project planning.
- Site Preparation: Level land, dig trenches, and clear obstacles; prepare and clear land for foundations, roads, and other infrastructure projects.
- Material Handling and Transport: Safely load, unload, and move materials to designated areas; transport materials as required by the project.
- Collaboration with Team Members: Work with construction workers, site supervisors, engineers, and project managers to ensure equipment is operated in alignment with project goals; communicate effectively to coordinate operations and complete tasks on time.
- Site Clean-Up and Maintenance: Clean site after tasks, park equipment properly, perform minor maintenance like greasing parts and checking for wear; maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas.
- Following Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations; wear PPE; report unsafe conditions.
- Ensuring Proper Operation and Accuracy: Operate machinery with precision to meet project specifications; adjust as needed for optimal results.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify minor mechanical problems; stop machine and perform repairs or report to maintenance; collaborate with crew to solve issues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain logs of equipment hours, maintenance, and fuel usage; report incidents to supervisors; ensure regulatory compliance.
- Post-Operation Inspection: Conduct final inspection of machinery; clean the machine and ensure safety features function correctly.
- Compliance with Local, State, and Federal Regulations: Follow relevant construction codes, safety and environmental regulations; comply with OSHA and other legal requirements.
- Training and Skill Development: Participate in ongoing training and certification programs; stay updated on new equipment and technology.
