Cambridge Homes is a leader in the custom home construction industry, and is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Administrative Assistant to join our team. Location: Northville, MI.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client billing and invoices.
  • Process payroll.
  • Process payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Track job costs.
  • Monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with contract preparation.
  • Answer phones, handle filing, and perform various administrative tasks as requested.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Take and follow directions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Identify and address issues.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and bookkeeping practices.
  • Strong computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is helpful, but not necessary.
  • Kind and friendly disposition.
