Field and Shop Forklift Technicians are being recruited by Badger Toyotalift, part of the Atlas Companies, an authorized Toyota Forklift Dealer. We provide quality service, premium equipment, and innovative solutions for companies of all sizes. This is a full-time position located in Milwaukee/West Allis, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair Toyota and other makes of lift-trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts, stackers, electric tow trucks, and transporters.
  • Safely use grinders, drill presses, air compressors, and common hand and power tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Atlas products and services; keep technician tools in good condition.
  • Complete service repair assignments in a timely manner and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong equipment repair, mechanical and/or electrical skills.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial or automotive settings.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained; effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time and attendance; self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

This position requires standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 80 lbs (frequently 20-50 lbs).
