Overview Parkhill is seeking a licensed Project Architect to join our Healthcare Team. This role is responsible for the design and technical development of healthcare projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate has strong design skills, attention to detail, and experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, community-focused healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design and documentation from concept through construction

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design intent and technical accuracy

Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and detailing

Ensure projects meet code requirements, quality standards, and deadlines

Conduct site visits and construction administration duties

Support project budgeting, scheduling, and consultant coordination

Mentor junior staff and support team collaboration

Present designs and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Licensed Architect or on track for licensure

7+ years of architectural experience, with healthcare project experience preferred

Proficient in Revit Architecture, with working knowledge of Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and healthcare design standards

Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
